Dr. Seeman joined GSI in 1980, the first physician hired by the group’s founder, Louis Gelrud. As time went on, Dr. Seeman’s business acumen led him to take the role of physician manager of the group. Through his tenure, Dr. Seeman’s contributions in this role have been vital to the success of the group. In addition, his leadership role in the Virginia Endoscopy Group has ensured the success of that venture. Although the management responsibilities take a considerable amount of time, Dr. Seeman has simultaneously maintained a thriving practice at St. Mary’s.
