Elizabeth was born and raised in Kilmarnock, Virginia. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors in Biology. She then went on to nursing school at Bon Secours Memorial College in Nursing where she earned her associates in nursing and later VCU School of Nursing where she earned her Bachelors in Nursing and also her Masters in Nursing with focus in Family Nurse Practitioner.
She spent 9 years working as a bedside nurse with the majority of her time spent in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Prior to joining Gastrointestinal Specialists, she worked in pulmonary-critical care medicine for 2 years.
She spends her free time with her husband, son and labrador retriever. She enjoys cooking, running and traveling.
