Joshua Hughes, NP
Joshua received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia, where he later completed his Master of Science in Nursing degree with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner. Joshua Spent the first part of his career as a Nurse Practitioner in the primary care setting.
Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Joshua spent over 8 years working in Bone Marrow Transplant at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems both as a student and Registered Nurse. During this time Joshua was given the opportunity and honor to care for acutely, chronically, and terminally ill patients in a variety of conditions. He also loves medical missions work, both global, or through his local church, and has spent time in Guatemala and India, and lived in South Korea as a teacher.
Born and raised in Henrico County, Virginia, Joshua is an avid angler, loves travel, music, and collegiate sports, but most of all spending time with his wife and their two children.
